Description

Ellen returns home from college hoping to spark some interest from Rodney, the man that she has loved for some time. She seeks peace and comfort in her childhood home and the surrounding ranch. A recurring nightmare from her childhood returns after a three-year break. Something begins to bother her about her old room in the third story of the house, and she decides to move to a room on the second story. This seems to help with her recurring nightmare. A short time later, her Uncle returns from a long absence and introduces his new bride. Within just a few days, long-time ranch hand George disappears; and then Granny dies in her bed, though she had seemed to be in good health. Ellen develops a keen awareness that something is not right, and that there seems to be a presence in the third story of the house.
